You will only access information about recipients of State of Ohio benefits or services, or about State of Ohio employees, which is collected and maintained on State of Ohio computer systems for those purposes authorized by the State of Ohio, and as directly related to your official job duties and work assignments for, and on behalf of, ODJFS, ODM, DAS, or a federal oversight agency. You must not seek to benefit personally or permit others to benefit personally by any confidential information which has come to you by virtue of your work assignment. You must not exhibit or divulge the contents of any record to any person except in the conduct of your work assignment or in accordance with the policies of the Ohio Benefits System. You must not knowingly include or cause to be included in any record or report a false, inaccurate, or misleading entry. You must not remove or cause to be removed copies of any official record or report from any file from the office where it is kept except in the performance of your duties. You must not operate or request others to operate any State of Ohio IT equipment for personal business. You must not violate rules and regulations concerning access or improperly use security entry cards or codes for controlled areas. You must not divulge or share any security codes (i.e. sign-ons, passwords, etc.) used to access any secured files. You must report any violation of this code by anyone to your supervisor immediately. You must not aid, abet, or act in conspiracy with another to violate any part of this code. You must not load any personally owned software or software not licensed to the State of Ohio on any State-owned equipment without proper authorization. You will treat all case record material as confidential, and will handle IEVS material with extra care. You understand that Internal Revenue Code Section 7213(a),7213A and 7431 provide civil and criminal penalties for unauthorized inspection or disclosure.
